The program
CertlyPro Credential Reminders sends members of fire departments and EMS agencies that use CertlyPro reminders about their professional certifications (for example, a state EMS certification or a CPR / BLS, ACLS or PALS card) that are expiring, expired or missing. Each text starts with CertlyPro and the agency's name and includes a private link to send a photo of the new card. We also answer replies such as STOP, START and HELP.
These texts are about your certifications only. They never contain advertising or marketing.
How you are signed up
Your agency adds your mobile number to CertlyPro after you give it to them and agree to get credential reminder texts. The first text you get is a one-time confirmation, sent right before your first reminder, that names CertlyPro and your agency and says how to get help or opt out. See exactly how members are added.
What to expect
- Message frequency varies: usually up to 4 texts for each certification as it nears its expiration date (your agency sets the schedule), plus an answer when you text us.
- Msg & data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help.
- Texts go out between 8am and 9pm in your agency's time zone, in English or Spanish.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any text to stop all CertlyPro texts to your number. You can also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, OPTOUT, or in Spanish PARAR, BAJA, CANCELAR, ALTO or BASTA, or simply ask in your own words (“please stop texting me”). You'll get one text confirming you're opted out, and no more after that. You can also ask your agency's coordinator to stop your texts.
Opting out of texts doesn't change what your agency requires. Your agency may still email you or reach you another way about your certifications.
Changed your mind? Reply START to the same number to get texts again.
Getting help
Reply HELP (or AYUDA) to any text for help. You can also email support@certlypro.com or ask your agency's credentialing coordinator. Questions about a certification itself (whether it's current, what your agency requires) are best answered by your agency.
Carriers
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texts can be delayed or missed, so please don't rely on them alone: your certification's expiration date is on the card or certificate itself.
Privacy
We never sell your mobile number or share it with anyone for marketing. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it, and our Terms of Service.
